Data modeling and integration for maximum performance
From the client’s systemic architecture, Agile performs the data modeling using SAP HANA Studio as a tool. The rules modeling is based on business needs and refers to a data refining activity and interactions of the various entities involved in the business. Thus, views are created to abstract the business and which will be better consumed through the use of reports.
The modeling and integration process enables the simulation of scenarios, such as the analysis of clients, products and sales, and the relations between them. These scenarios can be used in analytical applications, such as SAP Business Objects Explorer and Microsoft Excel.
SAP HANA Studio is the tool used for the definition of tables, and creation of provisioning and data models in SAP HANA. Using Data Services, Sybase Replication Server, or XS Engineering, Agile promotes the integration and replication of data in real-time or in batches.
DETAILED ACCESS TO DATA AND CONSTRUCTION OF ANALYTICAL MODELS FOR COMPLEX ANALYSES
SAP HANA offers a simplified modeling flow, from conception to analysis. This flow covers the entire process: identification of important operational data (raw data is transformed into relevant information), generating information semantically grouped in models, and finally, the publishing of completed models.
The main difference that defines SAP HANA to the traditional analytical models is the absence of any materialization – all models are purely virtual and calculate results based on subjacent detailed operational data. The absence of materialization facilitates model changes.
